Team News And Tournament So Far

Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sunrisers Hyderabad's top four batsmen were removed for single-digit scores at 37/5 in their 211-run chase against Rajasthan Royals. Aiden Markram's (57* runs), Wahington Sundar's (40 runs), and Romario Shepherd's (24 runs) contributions helped them reach 149/8 in 20 overs. Players with more experience, such as Kane Williamson, Nicholas Pooran, and Rahul Tripathi, must step up with the bat.

Bhuvaneshwar Kumar bowled brilliantly for 4-0-29-1 and was unlucky not to earn additional wickets owing to no-balls. Romario Shepherd, Umran Malik, and T Natarajan each grabbed five wickets but came at a cost. The spin department is mainly reliant on Washington Sundar, with assistance from Abdul Samad, Aiden Markram, and Abhishek Sharma.

SRH finally earned a deserved and dominating victory over CSK in their last match, and would be looking to build on that.

SunRisers Hyderabad’s Predicted XI:- Abhishek Sharma, Rahul Tripathi, Kane Williamson (c), Nicholas Pooran (wk), Aiden Markram, Abdul Samad, Washington Sundar, Romario Shepherd, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, T Natarajan, Umran Malik.

Kolkata Knight Riders

KKR started the season very well, earning a solid win over defending champions Chennai Super Kings. They then lost to RCB by just 3 wickets, in a match where they almost defended a very low total. KKR bounced right back up with an impressive victory over Punjab Kings, as Andre Russel seems to have found his batting form back.

KKR has the option of fielding an extra international player in place of keeper Sheldon Jackson or pacer Shivam Mavi, who both struggled against Chennai. The Knight Riders lost their second game against RCB, though they almost defended a very modest total with some brilliant bowling.

Chamika Karunaratne of Sri Lanka, Mohammad Nabi of Afghanistan, and Tim Southee of New Zealand are the international alternatives on the bench. Tim Southee or Mohammad Nabi might get a chance to play against Punjab. Shreyas Iyer gave KKR debuts to Ajinkya Rahane, English wicket-keeper Sam Billings, and domestic stalwart Sheldon Jackson in the absence of Australia's batsman Aaron Finch and bowler Pat Cummins against Chennai in their first game.

Pat Cummins' return has been a brilliant boost for KKR as he played a blinder of an innings in the previous match against MI, scoring a brilliant 56 off just 15 balls ! He was also lethal with the ball and is one of the biggest assets in the T20 game.

KKR Predicted Playing XI : Venkatesh Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer(c), Nitish Rana, Sam Billings(w), Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Umesh Yadav, Pat Cummins, Varun Chakravarthy.

Betting Preview, Picks And Prediction

To Win The Match

KKR have odds of 1.68 to win this match, which could be quite tempting as they looked really solid in their first 3 games. SRH have only recently won their first two match but are in good form, and have attractive odds of 2.30 to win this match.

Top Team Batsman

Captain Shreyas Iyer is again the favourite to be KKR’s top scorer in this match, as he is widely considered to be their most consistent batsman and has odds of 3.75. Opener Venkatesh Iyer has odds of 4.00 to be the top scorer as he scored a brilliant 50 in the previous match.

SRH captain Kane Williamson is unsurprisingly the favourite to be their top batsman in this match with odds of 3.60. His opening partner Markram has odds of 4.00. Nicholas Pooran has odds of 5.50 to be the top batsman.

Highest Opening Partnership

KKR are favourites at 1.80 to have the highest opening partnership as they have Rahane and Venkatesh Iyers as their openers. SRH haven't had a successful opening pairing yet and have odds of 1.90.

Top Team Bowler

Umesh Yadav has surprisingly emerged as KKR’s favourite to be the top bowler at 3.75 as he is the leading wicket-taker in the league so far, while leggie Varun Chakravarthy has odds of 4.00.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is SRH’s favourite to be the top team bowler at 3.00, followed by Natarajan at 4.25.

Total Runs In The Match

Odds of there being more than 341.5 runs in this match are 1.83, as per 10Cric. This seems highly achievable as both these teams have some brilliant batsmen and have scored plenty of runs this season.

Individual Player Betting

  • Venkatesh Iyer to score more than 24.5 runs has odds of 1.87, which is a tempting bet as he would like to continue his current form and give KKR a top start. Kane Williamson to score more than 26.5 runs has odds of 1.83 , which is a tempting bet as he is their most consistent batsman.
  • SRH to hit the most sixes has odds of 2.10, which could be attractive odds, especially if their openers get firing. KKR to hit the most sixes has odds of 1.85, which can be very tempting with Russell back in form, along with Iyer, Rana and Narine’s ability to clear the rope.

  • Umesh Yadav to take 2 or more wickets has odds of 2.30, while Bhuvneshwar Kumar to take 2 or more wickets has odds of 2.40.
