Former India captain Virat Kohli has been struggling to find consistency at the international level. He ended the campaign against England with only 31 runs, scoring only 11 and 20 in the fifth test against England at Edgbaston and failing to register even a single half-century.

Ireland nearly defeated India in the second T20I match between the two teams on Tuesday in The Village, Dublin, only to fall short in the end. The away team won over Ireland by four runs, achieving 225/7 (20 overs) in comparison to the home team's 221/5 (20 overs).
