How MS Dhoni Became the Posterboy of Indian Cricket

First Taste of International Victory

After he was named captain in 2007, Dhoni led India to its maiden World T20 Championship. Within two years, India became the No.1 test team in the world under his leadership. In 2010, he eliminated India's Asia Cup drought that spanned 15 years.

The World Cup victory is undoubtedly the crown jewel of highlights in his career and he achieved it in the coolest way possible! If you don't remember, he struck the match-winning six against Sri Lanka.

The following ten years have been eventful for the Indian cricket team, even after he stepped down as captain in 2017. Finally, 2020 marked the end of the international career of perhaps the coolest cricketer in the world.

As the captain of the most celebrated IPL team, Chennai Super Kings, he has won the cup 5 times and created numerous memories with his peers.
