Team News And Tournament So Far 

Rajasthan Royals

Rajasthan Royals' bowling attack, headed by Prasidh Krishna, who rattled the top order, including removing skipper Kane Williamson for 2 runs, limited Sunrisers Hyderabad to just 149-7 despite Aiden Markram's unbeaten 57, in their first match. Yuzvendra Chahal claimed three wickets to achieve 250 wickets in T20 matches, while Trent Bowler took two. 

Sanju Samson, RR’s brilliant keeper-batsman, was named the Man Of The Match after smashing three fours and five sixes in his 27-ball blitz, hitting 55 and putting on a crucial 73-run partnership with Devdutt Padikkal, who scored 41. Shimron Hetmyer of the West Indies struck 32 off 13 balls and blasted two sixes to push the Royals' total above 200 after being put in to bat first. The Royals ended up with an emphatic 61 run victory.

Rajasthan Royals would have to select between Kiwi James Neesham and Australian Nathan Coulter-Nile against MI, with Jos Buttler, Trent Boult, and Shimron Hetmyer filling the remaining three positions, but they may field an unchanged XI after defeating SRH and MI.

In case of an injury, Rajasthan may also field one out of Navdeep Saini, KC Cariappa, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Karun Nair, Rassie van der Dussen, Daryl Mitchell, or Obed McCoy. 

Buttler's form is impeccable at the moment, and he looks set to take them to another victory here.

Royal Challengers Bangalore 

RCB started the season poory despite posting a mammoth score against Punjab Kings. However, their bowling was torn apart by the PBKS batsmen and they chased down 206. In the second game, RCB almost suffered a humiliating defeat as they struggled to chase down a very low score set up by KKR, but eventually managed to record their first win of the season. 

Glenn Maxwell, who recently married, will miss at least the first two games of Royal Challengers Bangalore, while his Australian counterparts Josh Hazlewood and Jason Behrendorff will miss the first three games since the Australian players would not be available until April 6.

Mohammed Siraj (2/59 in 4 overs) and Akash Deep (1/38 in 3 overs) both cost too much. While Mohammed Siraj will face RR for the first time, Akash Deep may be replaced by Siddharth Kaul.

They lost their last match but had won 2 in a row before that and are generally looking good enough to finish in the top 4 this season.

RCB opener FAF Du Plessis is unsurprisingly the favourite to be their top batsman in this match with odds of 2.87. He played a brilliant innings in the first game but it went in vain eventually. His opening partner Virat Kohli has odds of 3.00. Dinesh Karthik has odds of 6.00 to be the top batsman.

Jos Buttler is on course to be the highest scorer ever in one IPL season as he has smacked an unprecedented 3 centuries already. He is the favourite to be the top scorer with odds of 2.62 !
